Our family isn't exclusively plant-based, but we do try to eat less meat because it's good for our health and good for the planet. Here are some of our go-to's for shortcuts that are fast, delicious, and healthy(ish). Not all of them are vegan, but none of them contain meat (Note: items may differ based on your Costco location).
These are a weekly staple in my house, and they contain green vegetables! They're not vegan, but we love them topped with olive oil, lemon juice, or some tomato sauce.
Personally, these are my favorite veggie burger. I love that they're packed with veggies, beans, and relatively straightforward ingredients.
These whole-grain noodles pack eight grams of protein per rice cake, making them a great, quick pasta alternative.
If you've ever checked the ingredients list on a typical store-bought marinara sauce, you've seen that most are loaded with sugar or additives. But this one is just tomatoes, garlic, and herbs — and it's delicious!
These are always stocked in our freezer for a lazy pizza night! They're not vegan, but the gluten-free cauliflower crust is crispy and delicious. Our kids eat a plain cheese pizza while my husband and I dig into this one.
We serve these as an alternative to chicken tenders, and my kids can't taste the difference.
We always have these on hand for easy meals. I don't eat a lot of "fake meat," but my husband and son love these.
We prefer Impossible, but this is another great option for a meat alternative that is 100% plant-based.
I love the simple, whole ingredients here. We serve them with some guac or fresh avocado. They aren't plant-based, but they pass the kid test in our house!
If you're looking for a plant-based ravioli option, these are delicious, easy, and organic! That said, they are a bit more adult-friendly — my kids aren't the biggest fans.
